I’m delighted to share these sustainable romantic floral candle bowls today. Made at the end of last season using a beautiful mix of roses and cosmos. I wanted to create alternative table centrepiece to my classic jam jars*.
Inspired by the romance of peonies, the floral candle bowls are made up of the most ruffled and sweet coloured flowers growing in the garden. Using fully sustainable methods – chicken wire and moss. They work across the seasons providing a dash of whimsy to any sustainable wedding or celebration. Candles look great in the centre but can easily be made without. Layering and mixing different size vases, baskets or containers will create a meadow like effect along a table. Or a few simply scattered would look dreamy.
Despite the endless rain, there has been plenty of work going on amongst the flower beds. The first spring crops have gone into the ground and there are strong signs of spring everywhere. The diary is filling up for weddings this year (2024). However, as soon as the season opens up, I’ll be able to offer last minute requests from simple bouquets to buckets and table decorations. * I will always have Jam Jars as part of my business – do not worry! 🙂
