Get the party poppers out, I have the first fresh flowers of the year ready to go!!! When I potted up these paperwhites in late December I was hoping they would be ready for February and they are – hooray.
As a seasonal flower grower there aren’t many of the traditional flowers we’ve become used to available for Valentines Day – we have to until June for the roses (always worth it!) . These paperwhites make a beautiful alternative – seasonal, delicate and with the first hint of spring they make a wonderful gift for a loved one or yourself.
I have treated these as a collection and been gathering the right jars and vases to show them off to their best. Some are vintage, others new but with a long life ahead of them – I have a limited amount available so get in quick! I always test my flowers before putting them on sale – these beauties have an amazingly long lifespan and should give you flowers for weeks. Every part of them can be reused and recycled, if you no longer want/need the vase I’m always happy to exchange for a fresh bunch of flowers. I’m so excited, I love growing flowers so so much and sharing them even more.
Large vases (5 bulbs in each) are £30
Small vases are £12
