Autumn Wreath Workshop – Essex Wildlife Trust, Langdon Hills

I’m delighted to give you the details of two Autumn Wreath Workshops, I’m hosting at Essex Wildlife Trust, Langdon Hills.

Wreath making has become an integral part of my floral journey and general well being. I make wreaths year round and always love to share my process. More than just a seasonal one-off, I teach so you have the skills and confidence to create all year round. Opening my students eyes to all the glorious possibilities the garden and nature gives us to decorate with the seasons.

I love them all but Autumn has a certain, extra special quality about it. The flowers and foliage have soaked up the years warmth (we’ve had plenty of that!!!) and are perfect for bringing inside.

We work from a hand made mossed wreath base, this can be rehydrated and reused throughout the year. Then we use a mix of fresh and dried flowers and foliage to create a unique design. The wreaths and be hung inside or out and enjoyed as long as the flowers last. Which in some cases is years! Everything is finished with a beautiful ribbon, bow making on demand has become one of my specialist skills.
