I’ve had my eyes to the Earth this week, tucking myself away in the garden filling beds with plants nurtured throughout the winter and potting on seedings. With each one I plant hope, hope that this growing year will be the most beautiful and bountiful and hope that even more people will get to experience the magic that each flower radiates.

As I enter my third year of growing, I’m really confident with what the garden can bring. I’ve learnt to lean into bumper crops and not take things personally when things don’t grow to plan. It makes each year its own and unique and I want to share all of it.

This year I’m wishing for weddings (and other celebrations too), I’ve always loved a good wedding. In my school days my friends and I used to plan weddings and parties in the back of our science books. After working at Oasis and Coast for my placement year at university, I went on to create a series of wedding dresses (inspired by Edwardian Greenhouses, obvs!) for my final degree project. I guess weddings have always been a celebration that I’ve been inspired by. And as I’m going through my wedding CV, let’s not forget my own wedding which was featured on Love my Dress (my cousin did the flowers for me) which then led to contributing inspiration boards for Annabel’s site for a while.  You can see a few here, here and here.

Back to the present, the wonderful brides that have found me have all been looking for flowers to enhance their relaxed and joyful looking days. Due to the size of my growing space I’m unable to supply ballrooms worth of flowers but intimate gatherings that need a floral touch, yes please. I have added a new Weddings Page to my site where you can check out prices and some more details. The advantage of being a small scale grower is I can be really flexible to you and your day, if a small posy is all you need then I am happy to create something extra special for you. If you want to fill your garden with flowers then I can do that too, just send me a message as I would love to make your floral dreams come true.

Featured here – a small June posy with hand-dyed silk ribbon. Isn’t she a beauty?! xx

You really mke it seem sso easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be actually something
which I think I would never understand. It seems too complex
and extremely broad for me. I amm looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!
