Creative Living : Spring Flower Workshops

Welcome to a new season of Spring Flower Workshops. As Spring begins to emerge and we start to stretch our creativity after a winter of hibernation. I have organised a collection of Spring flower workshops to ease us gently into a new flowering year.

Running winter workshops off site and here at home worked SO well. Hosting them over consecutive days created really special moments. Welcoming new faces to my table to create beautiful wreaths and wrapping was, as always, a joyful experience. And worked really well with my family.

For the Spring season I am running a mix of workshops using the last of the dried flowers and the start of the fresh flowers.

I’ll be at Patch, Chelmsford for a Saturday morning of dried wreath making. These will be slightly smaller than my classic wreaths but no less wonderful. They make ideal Spring or Easter natural decoration for  your home. Once you have learnt the skills to make your own, you’ll be growing and making wreaths for all seasons!

April will give us the first harvest of flowers and it is where we’ll be for the Spring Garden Workshops

April will bring the first flush of flowers. Join me for a gorgeous morning in the Spring garden. We’ll start the day with a tour of the cutting beds. The garden is very much a working space – I’ll share how I get flowers for the whole season. We’ll come inside for refreshments and get to make our very own jam jar arrangements to take home. To finish I’ll demonstrate seed sowing and how to get started growing your own cut flowers. The morning is designed for flowers lovers of all levels. I really want to share the excitement and anticipation of the new season.
