Introducing Quickies, said with a wink. New monthly floral craft workshops, held in Leigh-on-Sea. Quickies are floral centred craft workshops taking place the 1st Saturday of each month (except June & August!). They are light and fun with the subject/craft changing monthly depending on availability.
I’m always inspired by those who attend my workshops. After winter workshops I really wanted to make space for those needing to take time out. Either for themselves or gather with a group of friends to come and create. I know that taking a few hours out of my weekend can be a huge pull and often don’t do the thing because weekends are so precious. 90 minutes is perfect amount of time for a floral fix. I’m located really close to the beach/park/shops off the Leigh Road. An ideal location for little ones to be taken to the park while you make. Or use as an excuse to meet for a good coffee or drink after – the time is yours.
There will be a new idea every month based on what I have. Some months we could be arranging flowers from the cutting garden. Other months we could be making candle centrepieces. It will depend on the day. These have been kept deliberately affordable – there will be tea and coffee but no cake.
The first workshop starts in March where we will be looking at natural dying. Dates and details below
