Baby Shower Flowers

This flower growing year is going so fast. There are less requests for smaller jam jar arrangements  and a lot more for weddings and occasions. Like these simply stunning baby shower flowers.

The brief for these flowers were 24 bud vase arrangements plus a bouquet for the mama-to-be’s Mum. I have been going back to my fashion design roots and treating each brief like a separate collection. I like to arrange and style my flowers to sit in harmony with each other but not be completely matchy matchy.

Due to my (relatively) small growing space I have grown a simple base colour palette of whites and greens this year. The stars of the show have been Cornflower (Centaurea Cyanus) Snow Man. They have been flowering in abundance for a good month and show no signs of stopping. I could do with the bed space for Cosmos and Dahlias, but I’m not complaining! I used them as a base adding in Sweet Peas, Daisies, Poppies and Grasses to the individual bundles.
